Proud Owner

per_soloI am now the proud owner of a Select Comfort mattress...it should be delivered this week. Yay!
Thanksgiving with friends this year was good...again, LOTS of people. Lots of fun was had, and hot tubbing with the group was cool too...gotta get a Hot Tub eventually...of course, I ought to get a house first. Then again, buying a real mattress, instead of a waterbed mattress, is likely a good step.
Brought home leftovers, which were consumed this evening...and finished "Doom 3"..fun game, but damn hard, especially near the end...now to go back and see if I can beat it w/o the cheats. :-)
Burn in Hell was just released, from Steve Jackson Games...this is a game I've been looking forward to...some friends thought it too easy, but we'll have to play a bit and make sure..and of course, I need to start playing some friends at Ninja Burger...since I'll be running the Ninja Burger World Championships at Gencon next year...and figuring out how to give out the much coveted "Platinum Belt"...of course, I'll need to figure out how to create that belt first, but hey, I've got some time on that one...
Oh, and have my first confirmed guest for Inconjunction..Eugene Roddenberry. Much fun will be had, as I'm curious if I can get him to do a panel entitled "Growing up Trek"...of course, the first step to that is seeing what panels he wants to do...should be interesting.
Don't recall if I mentioned it here before, but I did watch the Star Wars III trailer a week ago...and damned if Lucas hasn't made me want to see that in the theatre...I'd planned on skipping it, after Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones...but then I read some spoilers (actually, read a LOT of spoilers), and it sounds like this one has it right..of course, knowing Lucas, he'll fuck it up at this point...but at least we still haven't seen Stormtroopers with Radios..oh, wait, that was Spielberg. :-) Never mind.
Other than that, there isn't much out, or coming out, that i want to see...I mean, what, was it a year ago that we had the last Lord of the Rings movie? And what big movie event do we have this December? None that I can think of. Oh well...maybe I'll find some mindless entertainment to watch.
