Step One

Make a post (public, locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- Make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

Surf around to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

1. Creator (Peter O'Toole Film) on DVD
2. A House.
3. A speaking role in an animated series
4. An audition for the TV show "Scrubs" :-)
5. A Copy of the Expanded "American Gods", with 12,000 more words.
6. Golgo 13: Book 4 - The Ivory Connection
7. For everyone who sees this to play any of the following games somewhere in the next few weeks. Ninja Burger, Fluxx, Chrononauts, Scene It, Atmosfear, Munchkin, Hex Hex, or any other "fun" game that you can play with friends. If you have suggestions for fun games like that, so that I may hook friends into new games, leave a comment.
8. A year membership to the CBLDF
9. the top gun for the Millenium Falcon (Original toy release), or the two blue struts that go with the hatch. Both gun and struts would be great. :-)
10. A tape with all the episodes of "The Lost" on it, to date.

There is an expanded version of American Gods????

Sorry! Got carried away. Came here from the masterlist...if you have more info on how to get that book, could you let me know?

It's one of the best I've read this year.

Thanks!

As far as games go, try Grass, Lunch Money, or Chez Geek (plus all the expansions).
I see you are in the Indy area (my home town). I recommend getting these from game-times.com. They used to have a physical store in Greenwood but it closed over the summer. However, the owner still runs the online site and shipping would be cheap since it's local. He also allows you to pick things up from him if you want, I think.
