When driving a car, you are SUPPOSED to look both ways before crossing an intersection, or, perhaps, when backing out of a parking space. You know, you're in a vehicle that can do a lot of damage, pay attention, right?

At least I have insurance, and am paid up (it always amazes me the number of people who drive w/o insurance), and my agency has always done fine by me. The officer showed up quickly (the woman initially seemed as if she didn't want to pull the police in..and then said "Oh, this'll wipe off" in regards to her rental car, and my paint that was on it..she paused when I said she probably ought to wait til the officer arrived before doing that).
:-) The officer said she hoped our day improved.
Interesting Times indeed.
(Yes, I'm annoyed, but these things happen, to all of us, all the time. All I can do is take each step in sequence...today, try to call my agency, as who knows if they are working today or not. Then figure when to take the car into Church Brothers, and figure what steps I need to do from there).
