Ok. I haven't updated in a bit. Something about things being REALLY busy.

My back is better than it was...Lots of rest, hot baths, a hot tub visit, and advil. Yay.

This last weekend I went to two parties. The Circle of Janus party, and my company party.

The COJ party went well...I was amazed at how much work I actually ended up doing at it, organizing my convention staff, and coordinating with people..and planning. It was fun, tho. Lots of friends to hang out with that i hadn't gotten to see recently. Just wish I'd gotten a chance to play some games...of course, I need to print out rules to Ninja Burger, so I can be ready to run it next year at Gencon...I'm still planning on running the World Championships, and giving away a Platinum Belt...yay. Gencon should be a blast next year..of course, since I'm running it, I'm not really wanting to plan to run a whole lot else..

Of course, HOPEFULLY, we'll have a room just for SJ Games next year...that would help us the most...that way, only people wanting to play SJ Games would be around there, as opposed to us being put in with a whole lot of other card gamers...

The Company X-mas party was a lot of fun too...lots of kids, lots of socializing, REALLY good food..and, a nice little "present" from the company, in the form of a gift card for Simon Malls.

Now, to get my Convention staff list to the right people, and then do some shopping for food tonite. NOt a whole lot else, right now.

Altho, I AM thinking of reopening my Weblog...we'll see.

You've said before you might reopen your weblog. I check it periodically to see if you have. What do you plan to do with it?

At this point, I'm still not sure...I'd HAVE to have political ranting, there's no way I can avoid that...but, I'd want to go looking for good news stories too, and maybe just weird ones.

The story that has me wanting to do it today is the news that Dapper Donald Rumsfeld has said he's staying in his position til the war in iraq is over...he's 72, I'm not sure he'll be alive that long...

Well, he'll last 4 more years, and I'm sure the next prez won't want him.

I'm still pretty worn raw on politics, but I can't help throwing my two cents in when presented with someone else's political opinions. I still pretty much want to put my head under the blankets and wait out the next four years. My opinion won't matter until the next election anyway, so there's not much use in being informed. Maybe I'll change my mind, but it's going to take a long recovery period.

not related to post really. just couldn't remember if i had your email or not. listened to the cd. liked it. there were some songs that cut off a bit early, but not much like three or four seconds, just enough to cut off the ending.

was wondering what group was number four(i think that's the track) the one about the personal jesus. really just wondering, liked it even if it was a bit techno for bit too long.

all in all good though. love the fact that it ends with joy to the world.

Joy to the World was a bit of a fluke, as in I didn't plan it to end that way, but hey, if it works.

Personal Jesus is by Depeche Mode. Glad you liked the CD. I've noticed that the end cut off of a few songs...wonder why. Will have to investigate.

Did you hear about the lady who actioned her father's ghost on ebay? Seems in died in their home and her 5 year old was afraid that granddad would come back and hurt him. Lady put granddad's ghost and cane up for bid... Sold for $65,000. Lady says part of money will go to pay for mother's care and son's future.
