*sigh* Well, here it is, ten days to christmas, and I still have oh so much to get done.

Convention stuff is going along...no smoking is going well too. I've been about to crawn out of my skin a few times, but *eh*. Diet Coke is helping..nice Zero Cal drink.

Oh, that was another thing...I'm about 2 months from being put on Cholesterol meds...my number was 257, and the Dr. said she could be talked into letting me try to diet and get it down that way first. So, for a week now, I've been trying to eat right, and exercise a little more. Started Pilates..need to do more of that tomorrow. Tis a good DVD...a mix of Yoga and Pilates...

Hmmm...organized some of my comics...got my Rising Stars issues out, just so I could see where it was that the story started to piss me off...the next to last issue came out last week, and was a bit of a pisser...I'm both looking forward to, and not, the last issue...such a good series when it began, but now, I think it's too dark and depressing for me...and I fear that JMS won't be able to pull it off. To date, the only thing I've seen him end "well" in my opinion was Midnight Nation...and that one brought a few tears to my eyes...of course, that could be because the..crap, can't remember what it's called..the moment when the story is at its best...and everything feel that it's built up to that moment...felt VERY cinematic to me...Damn, now I'm wanting to drag the issue of that one out. Of course, now I have at least 2 long boxes full of comics I want to get rid of...create some room and lose some stuff I'll never read again (Or that I can easily get in a trade paperback)

Now, one other obsession to fulfill...does anyone out here have the first few seasons of "Scrubs" on Tape? I'd love to borrow...it's the one obsession that is making me really happy...I wish I'd gotten into it way back when...but, I think it was on against 24, and I was big into 24 then...and then it was on following Friends, and I avoided that show like the freakin' plague. Except for the first few seasons...

Much like a bunch of shows I liked first season..then, the characters NEVER evolved..that bugs me a bit.

Oh well, that's enough of an entry for now. :-)

*sigh* Brace yourself. I'm on BP meds at the moment, and I wasn't able to bring it down with diet/exercise.

In other news, is not that big a deal once you get used to it.

Still waiting for Midnight Nation to arrive.

I'm braced..but I've also heard of some friends whose cholesterol is, like, 300 or lower, and they ahven't been put on meds...so, it's making me go "WTF??"

I can't wait for you to read Midnight Nation...I'm trying to remember if it was the 3rd issue that Matt Duda and I bonded a bit over...it deals with 2 of the main characters, talking in a circle...you'll know it when you see it. It was an awesome issue..and maybe it's because it was a much more finite series than RS (and that it resolved so much quicker, in real time, too) that it seems to be the better series...I dunno anymore. I know that I'll be happy when RS is done. And that's kinda sad.

A little...I also found I couldn't make it through the entire first workout..and felt a wuss. :-) But, I'll do some more later this week. Think it said at least 3 times a week, and in 28 days, you'll note a difference. :-)
