Origin of Icon.
May. 23rd, 2008 04:21 pmThe above icon is from a comic book called "Oz Squad", particularly, if I recall, issue #4.
Oz Squad was a comic that gave the idea that the beloved characters of Oz were still alive, and years later, acting as a government task force. The walls between Oz and earth had weakened many times, and Oz had influenced several historical events, including World War II.
On the cover of the issue, if I recall correctly, the Scarecrow has a lighter in his hand, and is holding the pump from a gas station to his head.
No idea why I use this one, except as a state of "Life is bizarre and fucked up at times".
Who knows, maybe I should go through and post now and then where I got some of these icons. There was a meme once that said "Ask me about an icon and I'll explain it", but I've not seen that one make the rounds in a while.
