GAHHH.
Yes, school is still insane.
Skipped Psych class to come home and work on Algebra..made it through the door, got back to the computer...turn the monitor on...Nothing.
Hrm...press the switch a few more times, just to make sure (old tech skills die hard), and finally realized there was no give with the button...double hrm.
Knowing I can't live (let alone do homework) without this computer, I pulled the monitor off it's stand, and took it to the bed. Found a screwdriver, and started taking it apart...after some fiddling, finally removed the tiny button, breaking a tab in the meantime, and verified that yes, it will look ugly, but it'll work. I just have to mind where the "switch" is when I go to turn off the monitor.
I swear, up and down, that the tech days that are long gone do me no good..every ONCE in a while, I feel accomplished when something I'm doing actually works.
Now to finish working on Algebra, and then go up to class.
