Jan. 5th, 2005 11:36 amOk. I should do a real update here, instead of just posting weird little "Icon" updates.
Um...yeah. Not a lot going on in my life...well, at least that seems MEGA busy at the moment...could just be being tired. Yeah, that came back, whatever it was.
Um...found a few cool posters on Moviegoods..and have used them to work on a few "custom" DVD covers...neat little geek hobby. And, an order of 3 and 4 disc cases (that are the same size as a single case) are coming as well. Anyone looking for custom cover art should visit http://www.dagonsden.com and look around some. Then again, there is always http://www.dvdtalk.com, which has a forum where you can find links to other good sites that host covers..
Or, if you want to learn how to edit them, just go to a site like DaProggers (do a search, memory is failing me), or cdcovers.cc, and download the covers and clean them up, or work the original poster onto them..fun, geek hobby o' mine.
AND, saw a movie last night that actually surprised me with how good it was...50 First Dates...it looked, in previews, like typical Adam Sandler, but the addition of Drew Barrymore adds to it...and, Sean Astin is kinda creepy in it. I liked it a bit...enough that I HAVE to get the soundtrack, and may eventually get the movie itself.
Tonite is an episode of Lost (Which I can't record, as I don't have the 5 that have come before it..long story), and Alias Season premiere...which I have to watch..or at least record, if I'm sick enough to go to bed early.
Anything else? Um, can't think so..my comic book habit is almost non-existent now..which is kinda sad...just not that many stories I want to read now. In theory, a few of those comics will "end" end soon..Planetary should end in a few months (it's a bimonthly), and Rising Stars should end at the end of this month...I can't really think of many comics I'm collecting on a monthly basis now. Fallen Angel...I'm sure there's one or two more..oh, Astonishing X-Men..written by Joss Whedon...great story.
Can't think of what else to add, if I do, I'll post more later.
