Cool...

Ok, so a bunch of us participated in the LJ "Wish" meme...and sent out a CD (1 a piece) of music that we each love for one reason or another...I'll try to find the list of songs I put on mine..2 of mine didn't come out right when burned to CD..strangely.

Well, we are starting to get thanks for the CDs we sent. Anyone coming to my site should know that a BIG thanks should go to Savidya, who organized the rest of us, and got us to all get together and get this done. She was a "muse" if you will, for this project.

And, we screwed up on one Username...I think we listed "confused_jew" as one of hte people who sent for this, and it's actually confusedjew. Sorry about that..fortunately, there have only been a FEW mistakes in this..otherwise, it seems to have been received in the spirit it was sent. And, as I said, that's just cooler than words can express.

I've already seen where several of the people we sent to were overjoyed at the pure "mix" of music...there is a lot of varied taste in there. I know that my picks differ quite a bit from from Kack's, or Awe_Struck's...each of us have slightly different tastes, but some are similar.

And well, for all the chaos of copying/packaging/and mailing 30 some packages, it's nice to know they are appreciated. :-)

Some people requested mix Cds...songs that "you" like and such. Of those that we sent to, I doubt they expected to receive as many as they did from us. :-) Make more sense, or need more explanation?

Oh, I understand. I love music, but I probably wouldn't have requested something like that. I find that music is one of the hardest art forms to share with others. Still, a lot of your titles intrigued me :).

I just started listening to them yesterday but I'm planning on visiting everyone's journal to let them know my fave song on their CD as soon as I'm done with them.
