per_soloOk...the loans for summer have kicked in.
Need to buy books, and get my car fixed. Had taken it to Big O, where the prognosis was the outer tie rod, hub assembly, and...bearings? Can't recall if that last was also in there or not.
Big O quoted a price...not great, but about what I expected.
Under the recommendation of Confusedjew, I took it for a second quote to her favorite guys at Car-X.
Just quoting parts and labor from the Big-O quote, without having time to actually examine the car itself, the quote came in about $230 dollars LESS.
The plan was to take it over at 7:30 wednesday morning when they open to have them look...I think I may still shoot for that. But, I've been organizing stuff for study for two finals that are this Saturday (10:30...in the chaos of the mini...yay Stat dept.), and a PR test on Sunday...and, well, sleep has not come easy. I feel slightly fatigued...oh, yes, this was after I was up til 4:00am yesterday, working on an Econ paper/presentation.
Hrm.....I should find out sometime if this is normal as one gets close to Senior year (hell, if all goes well, in a week and a half, I'm a senior...wow).
Anyways...that's the state of me at this moment in time. I've been meaning to post about the trip to Vegas a week or so ago, but just haven't yet. It was a fun trip, I did lose some money, but had planned on that actually. T'was an adventure. And I'll post that, eventually. Only had a flash a time or two while out there to the time I went with ABG, and the fun time that was, even with all that happened after that.
So...needs tomorrow...er, today...need to go clean the oven at the old Apt...check in with their property manager on how the place looks so Crys can get her Deposit back, need to take car into Car-X, and need to study.
And probably work sleep in there somewhere, too. :-)
