per_soloOk. Not a lot going on, except that at work, we are getting ready to go into our "Review" process. This is the bit that drives almost paralysis into heaps of people..this is where your company gets to decide what sort of raise you'll be receiving...if you receive one at all. Typically, the companies like to make us, the common worker, feel that a Cost of Living increase really is a big deal, and that they are contributing to our standard of living...what is that, a 2% raise doesn't really equal that much, unless you're making a shitload to begin with? Yeah..pretty much. However, many of us NEED that little 2%, just to keep up with the fact that bills get higher, and rent goes up...and god forbid something happens to your vehicle, or home.
Why the hell haven't I said "Fuck it all", and gone to be a student full time? Well, I do kinda like living my life, and not having to worry about grades and memorizing for school and all that..
Well, except for the bit about learning to pass the A+...and that one I've got the hardware portion in a week...we'll see...I can't wait to take it, and get it over with. I'd be tempted to take it NOW, but no, I can wait a week, practice some more, and make sure I've got the methodology behind the questions down so I can pass it first try.
Oh well. The gang and I watched some Firefly eps last...Wednesday? It's inspired me to make a few Firefly Icons..one of which will be shown here. I'm trying to pick a few interesting ones...or at least a slight theme, we'll see what happens.
If you're a friend of mine, and Have Not seen Firefly, go out and rent it...watch the first few episodes..if you go to Blockbuster, then just rent Disc 1...see what you think, and then rent the others. VERY good show, that most of you should like.
Anyways, not much else to report to ya...I'm tired, bored, and ready for the work day to be over.

btw wonderfalls came into the store and i can buy it feb 1. which means wonderfalls party at my house woo hoo!!!
