car Repair
Jul. 17th, 2003 10:06 amWell, got the call a little while ago from the mechanic.
A Fuel Injector went out...warranty covers all of that except for $50...add that to the $90 diagnostic fee, and you have $149.99...add the $13 for the Oil change, you have $162.99...well, there is also the issue of my ignition wires "arcing", and they want to replace those as well...parts and labor, $114.69. Total damage...$277.68.
Told them to go ahead and take care of the Fuel Injector, and I'd call them about the ignition wires...kinda need to make sure that my "funding" is able to cover that...and tell Mom and Dad to wait til next year to buy me a new suit.
They wanted to purchase one a week or so ago, for Roy's wedding..but, time ran out...well, now that money can go to fixing the car, and I can wear the same old suit I've always had..that's not bad...and, to be honest, I'd rather have the car working in tip-top shape.
I'm still annoyed, but what can ya do?
