First, yeah, they are totalling my sister's car...9000 some damage, and the car was worth a little more than that. So, she's going to be looking into getting a new vehicle...or a slightly used mini-van. the good is that the lease was up later this year, so that works just fine.
Have had my own stuff going on recently...it kinda goes to the old "You don't know you're somewhat unhappy, until the thought of happiness arrives" kind of thing. I can't say much on that, but it goes to the old "Change or don't bitch" thoughts in my head. More finger crossing.
Watched "Reefer Madness" the other night...and WOW...if you get a chance, watch it, it is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in a while. A musical adaptation of the old movie, the music is fun, several lines are memorable ("No Christain Martyr works it harder.."), and you'll have the songs going through your head days later.
This weekend, I need to work on more convention stuff...I'm avoiding the Star Wars convention that is in town..no need to go to it, no need to pay their prices. I like Star Wars, but man, to pay $120, plus whatever I'd want to buy, plus food, plus gas, plus the chaos of a lot more people than even Gencon brings to town...slightly insane. :-)
Anything else? Um...I wonder how long it'll take til we see costumes from Reefer Madness...the Angelic Choir in particular...or Mary's Leather. :-P On that thought, Gencon may be REALLY fun this year.
11:00am...almost time to go to lunch. And, it's been a fun 2 days so far..Boss is out of state, at Penguicon...one of these years, I'll go to that..then again, I've not been to a con, other than Incon, or Gencon, in a long time...I miss Marcon...I need to fix that, one of these days. Then again, I've been saying I should go to OVFF for years, as well...hmmm...will have to think of that after I talk to Tom at Incon this year. :-) Wow, lots of smileys in this post, I must be in a good, but tired mood.
If I think of more, I'll add later...again, ONE of these days, I'll do a phone post, just for grins.
