Throat pains suck...

Woke up at 6:30am....to feel a throat pain...not a big deal, as it seems this late in the year, I ALWAYS get this...I actually have felt it coming for the last 2 days...was given cough drops, and went to buy some more, while at the bank for work yesterday...woke up this morning with my throat feeling hideous...to the degree that I don't want to speak. So, called in (am sure I annoyed my boss by doing so...it's already a short week, and he called to ask about the status of a machine at work..e-mailed him back since I could tell my voice won't handle speaking much), and slept...and will be going back to sleep soon, but had to check e-mail, and friends LJs....

Might go out and get some Cloraseptic later today, or might just see if the sleep helps more. As I said, this seems to be a yearly thing...going back as far as I remember...was really a pain in the ass back in school.

Which, of course, makes me think it's got something to do with allergy/pressure changes...the few times I've gone to the doctors for this, there wasn't much they could do, except tell me to rest and take it easy.

Crap...sucky sucky throat issues...The only GOOD point is that, since I had my tonsils out in 96, I tend not to catch Strep anymore...and, that is a VERY good thing...I was catching Strep every year for 12 years...2 or 3 times a year. THAT sucked.

Ah well...back to rest. That way I can be useful at work tomorrow.

Yeah, I used to get a flu-like something every autumn, which sucks b/c autumn is my favorite season. This time, I got sick in August. Hopefully, that'll hold back the Autumn ick.
