per_soloSTOP what you're doing now, and go find the Bittorrent for "Global Frequency Pilot".
Global Frequency was one of those books that just..clicked with me, for some reason. I think the idea that anyone could be helping to save the world from the "monsters" we've created was just too much for me to say "Oh, THAT sucks". When I heard of the Series, I was dismayed, as I knew that Hollywood would fuck it up.
Well, then I heard that they cast Michelle Forbes (Ro from ST:TNG, and ME Cox from Homicide), and I didn't know what to think...well, yesterday, I stumbled onto the torrent...downloaded and watched, and DAMNIT. The hollywood types fucked it up by NOT picking it up. What could have been one of the better shows in the next season (and really, filled the niche that X-Files left behind years before it went off the air), and the WB decides not to pick it up.

Go to that site...in the first article (at last count), it talks about the chances of it being picked up...they're small, if the internet community decides to make a press, but ya know, based on the concept, and the pilot, it needs picked up.
Of course, YMMV, but I still say, go download it, watch it, and see what you think..yeah, the video quality is crappy, but it works..I wish there were a way to get a really QUALITY copy of it, even just as a pilot, as that is one hell of a pilot. :-)
