And, the Root canal is started...yup, as surmised, will require at least another day of work, but the first and really bad part is done.

LITTLE pain, not much...double of novacaine, so it feels like I've got a fat lip...but, it was nowhere near as bad as I'd been told they were, years ago. Advances in dental surgery are apparently grand.

Now, to just get it to wear off (the novacaine), so I can actually eat something.

Altho, the "dust" that flew off my tooth, as he was working on it...and the smell of heat+friction+tooth....wow...one that Does NOT go away quickly.

Food...food would be good..of course, I'm tired...and have been correcting my spelling errors, as since I'm tired, I'm not paying that much attention..oh well...maybe rest, then food. That would be grand. :-)

it's hard to explain the smell of tooth dust unless you've smelled it. nothing else like it. kinda sweet and annoying all at the same time...

Oh Yea, there is this smell of burning that happens with all that drilling - It is not as bad as burning hair (don't ask) but it can be disconcerting at times.. and the stuff that comes out - all over the place.. that mist mixed with guess tooth enanmel (I know the spelling is not right.. deal). :)

Anyway, you are through the hard part. I hate those impressions they have to do for the crown - that goop oozes.. this one time I almost gagged from it.. YUK!

btw, not sure if i will be able to make the meeting Sat or not - work stuff going on. Let me know what happens if I am not there..

Yeah...can't wait for the Crown part...ah well, at least it's moving along and getting done. It'll be weird having a "whole" tooth again, after having dealt with just a hole in it for a while.

I hope you can make the meeting, since it'll be somewhat important...if not, well, you'll hear the details...if not from me, from the ensuing list discussion I expect, and from the meeting minutes. :-)
